The business was started in 1981 by Mr P.J. Noordeman Snr and his son who is also Mr P.J. Noordeman.
Known then as P.J Noordeman & Co, the business began as a small two man operation leased out of
Shell service station in Bull Creek. The business has since evolved from those humble beginnings to its current size, with 16 staff members operating out of premises in Welshpool.

The Business has grown steadily since its inception, with the retirement of Mr P.J. Noordeman Snr in 1988 and more recently Mr P.J. Noordeman Jnr and his wife Mrs. C.M. Noordeman in late 2008, the company has continued to evolve. Now in late 2008 the company has new owners.

Ashley Wilson. Who has been involved with the growth, development and operations of the business since 1981 has over 28 years of Noordeman Diesel & Perkins knowledge.

Ashley is heavily involved in the Diesel Engine Reconditioning industry holding the following positions:
- State Chairman of the Engine Reconditioners Association of Western Australia - ERAWA
- National Chairman of the Engine Reconditioners Association of Australia - ERAA
- Founding Chairman of Australasian Engine Reconditioners Council - AERC
- State Chairman of the Perkins Dealer Association of Western Australia

Phil Davey. Is a qualified engine reconditioner with 28 years of engine reconditioning knowledge and skills. Phil is an active member of the ERA of WA and is involved in the running of the workshop applying best practices & O.H.S and is currently undergoing cert 4 training.

Michael Zampino. Who has a background in store management, production and administrative operations. After completing many sales courses Mike Is currently involved in marketing and selling.

The company is still in good hands with future plans of Noordeman Diesel employees being share holders in the success and growth for years to come. We will continue to adhere to the standards of quality, procedures and customer service which have made us a leading engine reconditioner and Perkins parts dealer in Australia.

The Business specializes in the reconditioning of small to large size diesel engines, retail sales and wholesale of diesel engine spare parts. It also provides a complete range of engine component machining and welding.


Noordeman Diesel is a learning organization and through its membership of the Australian Quality Council is committed to the Australian Best Practice Principles.

With its participation in training of apprentices over the years we have produced over 28 apprentices.

We are currently going to through an environmental green stamp approval system and have won a silver awards from work safe for a quality safety system.
